Happy 2016 and welcome back to the first Savoring Saturdays for the year! I hope everyone enjoyed the holiday and didn’t eat as much as I did. I’ve developed an actual fear of the scale. In light of my growing waistline, I want to start my day off right. However, I am not totally reformed and still crave delicious treats. It looks like Christine managed to create that balance with these Buckwheat Pancakes w/ Pomegranate Compote from Jar of Lemons.
I’m not sure how we ever justified cinnamon rolls being a breakfast food, but adding some much needed protein is all the justification I need. These Gluten Free Peanut Butter Cinnamon Rolls from Fearless Dining sound like breakfast perfection.
